A great recording...
I was married for years to Artie Shaw's and Helen Forrest's recording of this song, but I bustled right down to the courthouse to file divorce papers when I heard this one. Bob Eberly's voice is so silky and rich that it brought a whole new dimension to "Deep Purple" for me. (I didn't file the papers 'cause I'd rather cook breakfast for Helen than Bob.)
